Time : 11:50 PM Title : Draft out! Hello 6G peeps! I'm sorry this came late. So here's the update about the class outing for 21/6 (Sunday)
Basically, we'll be going down to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve for trekking. (Don't scream first let me finish) We will be taking the red route. Starting from the visitor centre right up to the submit and down again back to where we are. Based on my research, the trail grade is considerable easy so it poses no problems to those who are physically weak. And the approximate walking time is 90 mins, up and down. So after the trekking, we'll get down to westmall to grab a bite and catch a movie. And tada we'll just be ready to go home (: Okay so if you're asking about what time we meet and stuffs, here's the plan: 8-815am: Meet at Bukit Batok (we're taking bus 852) 815-9am: Travelling time to the nature reserve. 9-12pm: Trekking, shuffling, lagging, slacking, laughing, talking etc.... 12-1pm: Travelling time to West Mall. Movies and lunch time depends on which movies you guys wanna watch. Here are the movies and timings available: Drag me to hell: 310-450pm (Horror and Some Disturbing Scenes) Ghost of Girlfriends Past: 115-256pm, 315-456pm (Sexual References) Hannah Montana The movie: 250-432pm (Family/comedy) Land of the Lost: 1-241pm, 3-341pm (Some sexual humour) Monsters vs Aliens (Digital): 110-244pm, 315-449pm (Animation) Night at the Museum 2: 110-255pm, 315- 5pm (Action/comedy) Terminator Salvation: 1235-231pm (Intense Sequences and some Violence) Okay so if you'd to ask me, I will not recommend Drag me to hell (though I watched it and think that its nice) because I don't think everyone will be fine with horrors and I don't want parents calling up complaining about kids having nightmares. So UNLESS everyone is fine with it, then we'll go with that movie. Ghost of Girlfriends....well with sexual references? Don't think so. Land of the Lost looks like a distorted version of Jurassic Park. AND HOW THE HELL IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SEXUAL HUMOUR. Yes, humour me man. So am I going to see some girls being stripped naked by a dinosaur? No thanks. Monsters vs Aliens in my personal opinion is a pretty lame show with aliens blobbing around in weird shapes and human that expands in size...Well and since its not 3D, I wouldn't want to waste my money watching THAT. Oh well yeah, I'd rather you catch the 3D one with your family or friends over the weekends or something. Terminator Salvation is okay but not highly recommended. Besides we have to rush over to get the tickets and.....its all about gross content showing the ugly sides of war between human and terminators.... I've automatically left those NC16 ones out cos it doesn't matter if you know if its screened or not since you can't watch. So what's left is Hannah Montana, Night at the Musuem 2 and Terminator Salvation. My friend told me Hannah Montana is quite a good show (pretty attractive to kids ah...), and if you watched Night at the Museum, you'll probably want to catch the 2nd one. Anyway I definitely have no prejudices towards the movies which I mentioned above except for Land of the Lost and Monsters Vs Aliens (without 3D). The rest I'm fine so if everyone's fine with any movies, we'll go with it. Now for more questions. Why Bukit Timah Reserve? If you're thinking of going Sentosa, or going bowling, and all the old, boring stuffs, I think you should just shoot yourself or something I wouldnt really care. Our class gathering first time in 2009, shouldn't that be exciting and thrilling? What's more you'll not be trekking alone, you will be trekking with a bunch of fellow ex-classmates whom you never had time to catch up with. How cool is that gonna be! Why do we have to wake up so early and meet at like 8am? Well, then its time for a early rise and shine habit! Okay I don't really care about that actually. But do you really want to trek the forest with the hot sun glaring down at you. And considering the Singapore weather now, I don't think you will want to trek at the risk of dehydration. Unless you want to be barbequed in no time. Being early means there'll be lesser sunlight and lesser heat! Why if it rains? Raining poses a very big problem. But, no worries then. Normally it doesn't rain in the morning. But even if it do, we can book a function room (hopefully) and slack there. Well, freetime is yours. (: What movies will we be watching? Just as I've said, we'll go according to the majority. What if I have to leave early/join later/events in the morning? You may join us or leave as and when you like, just be sure to contact somebody and ask about our current location. What if I meet with unfortunate events during the outing? Once you agree to attend the otuing, you are responsible for yourself. Is Mdm Fang going? She will be notified of the event but its her decision to go with us or not. You are advised to bring the following: 1) Extra sets of clothing. 2) Mosquito repellents (optional) 3) At least $20 4) Lots and lots of water. 5) CAMERA! (if you have one) And please turn up with the right attire like Tshirt and pants. You wouldn't want to climb up a hill wearing some flashy and weird dress code. Have a good night sleep the day before! For anymore enquiries regarding the class outing, you can email me at Lyunyi-@live.com or call/text me at 98679695. Oh my I really should catch my sleep already, its 1.48am now!!!!!!! -Yunyi the almighty^^ |
